Step by Step
1. Register
Create an account online or visit us at the Leihlager. You can pay online by credit card, make a bank transfer, or pay directly at the Leihlager when you pick up your items.
You can borrow our objects with a subscription or as a one-off loan.
In order to use the PickUp Station, you must first have been to our shop location to have an ID document scanned and to deposit your credit card online (the credit card can of course also be deposited independently from home).
2. Search & Reserve
You can browse our inventory in our catalog. If you like something, you can conveniently reserve it and pick it up at the Leihlager – or have it delivered to you – on your preferred day.
For reservations that you want to pick up at the shop, select “Abholung Ladenlokal / Pickup Station” and then “Leihlager Horburgstrasse 105”.
For reservations that you want to have delivered, select “Home delivery” and enter your desired delivery address (Basel city area only).
For reservations that you want to pick up at the PickUp station, select “Abholung Ladenlokal / Pickup Station” and then “PickUp kHaus”.
3. Handover
On your reservation start day, your objects will be handed over to you. Times and locations depend on what you have selected as the handover location.

4. Use
Now it’s time to cook, clean, work, celebrate, eat, travel, create… or whatever else you can do with your objects.
Just treat the objects as if you had borrowed them from a good friend, so treat them carefully.

5. Renew
If you need the objects longer than planned, you can renew them for the weekly price, provided that they have not yet been reserved by someone else.
* The fee is individual per object and week and can be found in the object description.
Attention: When you renew items, you can no longer return them at the PickUp Station, instead you can only return them at the shop or by delivery service.
6. Return
Return your items on time so that others can enjoy them too. Or we can conveniently collect your items from your home with our pick-up service for a price of 8.00 francs.
