Workshop Jam Session Preserving vegetables and fruits

You have more courgettes in your garden than you can eat? Do you always come across large quantities of fruit through foodsharing and don’t know how to process them? And how does kimchi actually work?

The Leihlager offers a jam session as part of its new workshop series. Here you will learn from Sonja Grässlin from the WERT!Stätte (www.wertstaette.ch) how to preserve your vegetables and fruits. Whether it’s preserving, drying, juicing or making chutney or bouillon – during the jam session we will have different techniques and equipment from the Leihlager at our disposal.

A pro pos jam: Listen to Sofie Tobler’s live DJ set and if you need a break in between: find out more about food rescue & sustainability and enjoy snacks and drinks.

Vegetables and fruit will be available on site. You are also welcome to bring your shrivelled carrots and ripe bananas.
